End of Summer Photo Contest – Ice cream prizes for all winners!

Our photo contest has come to an end. We’d like to thank everyone who sent us photos. Happy faces and ice cream – it’s just the epitome of summer. What could be better!
And on to our winners….. drum roll please. . . . . .
In first place we have Patrice Ghall’s photo of her best friend’s son Dylan. I think we can all agree Dylan is really enjoying this ice cream.
In second place we have Leigh-Anne and Brian’s photo of – I can only assume- their daughter. She is absolute sweetness!
And in third place, we have one of Vanessa Scott-Deal’s entries of her family.
Congrats to all our winners! We have a lot of talent out there, and some real ice cream lovers. I will be sending you an email to tell you how to collect your prizes.

As many of you from Chelsea will know, Chelsea Days is the weekend of June 8th and 9th this year - a weekend where Chelseaites celebrate our fantastic community.
For our part, La Cigale will be hosting our very first
Our contest takes place in our back garden and there will be several prizes in the form of La Cigale gift certificates for the winners of such fun categories as
1) “most impressive sundae”,
2) “most enthusiastic sundae artist”,
3) “best use of chocolate”,
4) “best flavour combination”,
5) “most likely to be a future scooper”
Tickets are $5 per participant (taxes included).
Profits from each registered competitor will be donated to Libere-elles Chelsea, Women’s Shelter. We would greatly appreciate it if you could register and pay for your competitor, no later than Wednesday, June 5th by 4pm, so that we can plan for the quantities and all the special toppings we will need to have on hand!
